You brought faithful Bible teaching to Queensland

In parts of Queensland, faithful Bible teaching in youth and children’s ministries can be hard to find. This year, your support has enabled young Christian leaders across Central and South Queensland to be equipped with biblical ministry training from experienced Youthworks Ministry Support Team and Youthworks College staff.

At Leaders in Training (LIT) Launch camps, over 120 young people were surprised and refreshed by clear teaching from the Bible, helping them grow in their faith as they learned to lead others.

Youth ministry leaders in Brisbane were equipped to build healthy ministries grounded on God’s word.

Youthworks staff helped local leadership teams to build a culture of spiritual growth by encouraging training pathways and modelling discipleship.

At one training gathering, around 100 participants from 20 churches learned how to take a big theological concept and work through how to practically teach it to children. They gained confidence to teach all of God’s word to the next generation, including the difficult parts!

Kate from Presbyterian Youth & Kids Support shared her appreciation for these training events:

“Your God-given experience and skills are having an outsized kingdom impact, well beyond Sydney.”

That’s what your generosity made possible: local leaders better prepared to teach God’s word and orient young people for life in Christ.
