Training workshops in 2026 will be run face to face at all venues.

Each venue will run two one hour workshop timeslots in the conference program.

Workshop 1 is for all Primary and High School SRE teachers on “Every Child Matters: Teaching with Universal Design for Learning”.

Workshop 2 provides a choice of two workshops:

a) High School SRE workshop: “Teaching High School SRE Like a Champion”.

b) Primary School SRE worshop: “Fresh Ideas for Teaching Beginning with God & Connect Cycle A”.

Some venues will also provide an alternative workshop of SRE Accreditation Module 1 which will run across both timeslots.

NOT all venues will have SRE Accreditation Module 1 available, so you will need to plan which venue and ticket you will choose in order to get the training workshop you would like before you purchase your ticket. Please check the list of venues carefully for which locations will be providing this alternative workshop before you purchase your ticket. If you need to transfer your ticket to a different venue, we will return your order for store credit and you can purchase the right ticket with a coupon code if still available.

Every Child Matters: Teaching with Universal Design for Learning

Every child learns differently. This seminar introduces the three principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and shows how to use them in Scripture classes. Come away with fresh, practical tools to reach every student.

Workshop 2

(High School Option) — Teaching High School SRE Like a Champion

Teaching high school SRE can be challenging. This seminar gives you simple strategies for planning well, setting high expectations, and teaching with confidence.

(Primary School Option) — Fresh Ideas for Teaching BWG & Connect Cycle A

Want to make your lessons come alive? This session explores the teaching themes and gives you songs, memory verses, games, and creative ideas to help you teach with clarity and energy.

SRE Accreditation — Module 1 (for primary & high school) (2 hours)
This module considers how biblical principles shape the way SRE is taught. The module introduces the big picture of teaching SRE through five contexts: the biblical, legislative, school, family and church context.

This runs through both Workshop timeslots in the program.

Module 1 is only available on:

• Tuesday at Dapto and Narellan.

• Thursday at Broadway.

• Saturday at Castle Hill.
