Year 13 surge: Your support equips more young leaders to serve
Exciting news! 2026 marks Year 13’s biggest year ever, with over 106 students applying for the program, stepping up to be equipped as confident, servant-hearted leaders in their churches and communities.
Year 13 Director Steve Carlisle shares, “Year 13 is all about equipping school leavers to serve well in their churches, so we’re thrilled that in 2026 even more churches will benefit from their young people doing this training.”
A key highlight is the Fiji mission trip where students grow in boldness and faith as they lead ministry and share the gospel.
Year 13 Administrator Rebecca Wagstaff says, “They’ve really stepped out of their comfort zones and come out stronger, better, and empowered.”
This trip strengthens both students and the Fijian communities they serve, building lasting relationships grounded in Christ.
In the words of Year 13 student Connor Richards, “The experience in Fiji made me more confident, and showed me how vital walk-up evangelism is, so I’m now involved in this with my church.”
Year 13 is growing the next generation of disciple-making disciples who will strengthen and multiply ministry for years to come.
Thank you for enabling these young leaders to make a lasting impact in God’s church.
