Youthworks Conference Centres provide a place of temporary community for groups for relational and personal growth. About the role
The position purpose is to correspond with new and existing guest groups to find the best venue for their event, manage repeat bookings and expand the utilisation of Youthworks Conference Centre properties to maximise the ministry opportunities and revenue.
Your responsibilities
Administration
Accurately maintain and keep up to date guest records, and booking information on Booking System Venue360 and Salesforce for accounting purposes
Assist in building and maintaining contact lists for relevant purposes including marketing campaigns
Log enquiry phone calls and maintain record of guest details for follow up and historical reference
Maintain Bookings inbox, respond to enquiries promptly and archive conversations in appropriate folders for follow up and historical reference
Seek to improve the existing booking system by providing feedback of existing errors, areas for improvement and ideas of ways to ensure excellence in service to our guests
Administration assistance as needed for the Bookings Team
Liaising with Guests
Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction through prompt and courteous contact and follow up
Sales
Identify opportunities to offer information and make product or service suggestions based on a guest’s needs/wants
Work closely with new and existing guests to determine their present and future needs/wants and propose suitable services to meet these
Prompt and friendly responses to all enquiries, regardless of delivery method, within designated timeframes
Proactively pursue all enquiry leads as and when they are identified with the aim to secure their business
Enthusiastically and routinely seek return business with existing guests
Build relationships with Rollover Guests to meet needs/wants for existing and future bookings
Follow up on those guests who have not utilized Youthworks properties within a 12-month period
Place outbound calls as per benchmarks set by management
Provide reports on sales contacts made, realized and anticipated business opportunities
You will need to demonstrate
Experience in a Customer Service role, 3 years minimum
Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, exercise independent judgement, and use critical thinking skills
Flexible, collaborative, proactive and innovative
Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and to be flexible to reflect changes in priority
Well-developed computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with a focus on providing strong customer service
A systematic and focused approach to tasks with a strong attention to detail
An ability to work with a wide range of employees to achieve effective outcomes
A strong work ethos
Commitment to personal ongoing learning
Willingness to work within an overtly Christian environment and within an Anglican organisation
Commitment to work with Youthworks mission
Verified and Cleared NSW Working With Children Check number for paid employment
What we would really like you to have

Additional information
Current drivers licence and own transport is essential as there is no public transport anywhere near the Port Hacking Conference Centres.
