Year 13 turns 20: a Christian ‘gap year’ two decades in the making!
Who knew a gap year could last 20 years? Thankfully, the Year 13 Christian gap year has – and that’s worth celebrating! Because of generous friends like you, more than 1,000 school leavers have experienced a year of deep Bible teaching, service and mission with Year 13.
Year 13 Director Steve Carlisle reflects,
“This year, let’s pause to thank God for all He has done in young lives through deep Bible teaching, fellowship, and mission – especially in Uganda and Fiji, where students partner with local churches for a cross-cultural experience. To God be the glory! After 20 years, Year 13 is just getting started.”
Transitions after high school can be tough, but your support helps young adults to invest in God’s Word and lay foundations for a life lived in Christ.
“That’s why Year 13 really is a ‘Year for Life’,” Steve says. And what a joyful two-decade ‘gap year’ it’s been!
