Create a legacy of faith for generations.

Your gift to orient young lives to Christ.

When I reflect on the history of Youthworks, I recognise an amazing story – a story into which I want to invite you.

What began as a mission to support gospel work among young people in churches and schools has expanded into a leading ministry, now sharing the life-changing message of Jesus Christ with young lives across Sydney and around the world!

It’s a remarkable story of God’s grace, and the committed and faithful support of friends like you on whose shoulders Youthworks stands today. Under God, effective ministry pathways for children and youth are seeing churches flourish as their young people are transformed and established as disciple-making disciples of the Lord Jesus until He returns.

The Youthworks Foundation was established so that you can keep on transforming lives and sharing the hope of Jesus with future generations through a special gift during your lifetime ... or by remembering Youthworks Foundation in your Will.

Your legacy gift – large or small – will be invested in the Youthworks Foundation, a Public Ancillary Fund (PAF) established to provide annual income streams to Youthworks’ portfolio of youth and children’s ministries into perpetuity.

Your legacy of Christian faith will guard the gospel and ensure that tomorrow’s young people can continue to be oriented to Christ in a hostile world, just as Youthworks today stands on the generous legacy of faithfulness from past generations.

If you have chosen to remember Youthworks Foundation in your Will, or if you are considering it, I thank you! Your loving act is a reflection of God’s grace and will leave an enduring gospel impact for young people into eternity.

Leave a lasting legacy that equips and multiplies.

Leigh shares,

“One of his friends, Elissa, an atheist, was drawn to how kind Scott was at school. When she found out he was a Christian, she was surprised!

“So, when Scott invited her to youth group she felt comfortable and was keen to know what it was about Christianity that had so impacted him.”

Elissa began to come along to youth group and after a short time was unable to say no to God’s love for her in Jesus! As her faith has grown, she now looks forward to attending LiT with other youth.

Thank you for considering your lasting gift to equip ministers like Leigh and create a multiplying impact on many more young people like Scott and Elissa to grow in their faith.

Leigh is a Youth Minister in Sydney. Having little experience when he began, he was grateful for Youthworks’ help in setting goals, making decisions, and being connected into local networks of youth ministers who shared encouraging ideas and resources.

Looking back, Leigh says,

“Youthworks’ support helped to bring clarity to my role and what my team do, and to stay energised as we minister to the youth.”

Thanks to faithful friends like you, Youthworks Ministry Support Team provided ongoing training and feedback for Leigh, which equipped him to lead young people to become disciplemaking disciples of the Lord Jesus.

Scott was one young person impacted by Leigh’s ministry and Youthworks Leaders in Training (LiT) conferences. A quiet young man, he was growing in confidence and often invited friends along to church.

Why your generosity is needed.

A gift in your Will to the Youthworks Foundation will contribute to long-term capital growth and provide a recurring income stream to underwrite core programs – having an impact on young lives for years to come.

This includes training leaders and teachers at Youthworks College, supporting SRE ministries, and launching new initiatives in response to changing needs and gospel opportunities.

How your legacy gift will impact future generations.

Secure your legacy

For decades, local ministries have trusted Youthworks to orient young people towards Jesus. Your gift will ensure this continues for future generations.

“I recently stepped into the role as SRE Coordinator at my church, but was a bit unsure about what it would involve. Youthworks MST Advisor, Annemarie, visited to show me the ropes and assured me I could reach out to her at any time. As a busy mum, I feel confident that I can take on this role (and do it well!) because of staff like Annemarie who are so generously supported by you.”

– Christine, SRE Coordinator

“One of the chief priorities before me, as I seek to see our local churches strengthened for gospel growth, is to cultivate the vitally important role of intergenerational discipleship for our young people to take their place in serving God’s Church.”

– The Most Rev. Kanishka Raffel,
Archbishop of Sydney and Metropolitan of NSW,
and President of Youthworks Council
