About
We believe God reveals Himself through Scripture, creation, and Jesus Christ—and awe is the fitting response. Whether inspired by the vastness of nature, God’s holiness, or Jesus’ sacrificial love, awe awakens the heart to His greatness. More than an emotion, awe drives worship, humility, mission, and anchors faith in Jesus’ majesty and mercy.
Our outdoor getaways create space for this transformative awe—offering what church services or chapel assemblies often can’t. Through time in creation, engaging with the Scriptures, and shared reflection, participants deepen their walk with Jesus or perhaps explore faith for the first time.
These experiences strengthen families by providing shared spiritual moments that engage all ages. Together, families grow in faith, encouraging one another and deepening their relationship with Jesus. These trips foster lasting spiritual growth for the whole family.
Ministry
We aim to maximise every ministry opportunity while sensitively facilitating conversations—ensuring no one feels excluded or burdened by guilt, especially those who may not call themselves Christian.
Our input is thoughtfully designed to support the whole family’s growth in discipleship, helping families discover practical ways to integrate Scripture and prayer into their daily lives.
Every getaway reflects the rich Christian foundation central to Youthworks. Whether exploring God’s creation, sharing conversations by the pool, or enjoying relaxed meals with friends, we pray God is at work in every moment.

Programs
The Parent Child paddling Getaways in the Kangaroo Valley are an established and repeatable trip with overwhelmingly positive feedback received. These remote camping experiences work for churches and schools looking to enhance the relationships between one child and one parent.
For multiple siblings, larger numbers and more entry-level camping experiences, consider a Getaway to our Shoalhaven property. Here you can camp by the river, cook on the campfire and spend the evening marvelling at the Milky Way.
A one-day Getaway may be more suitable for your church or school calendar. Choose from abseiling in the Blue Mountains, stand up paddle boarding on the Hacking River, mountain biking in the Royal National Park or hiking a coastal walk north or south of Sydney.

We understand how demanding church and school life can be—which is why our Getaways are designed to be simple and stress-free. These all-inclusive, turnkey experiences remove the logistical burden from start to finish.
Led by qualified Christian guides, your team isn’t required to attend—unless you’d like to. The choice is yours.
Each Getaway is fully catered and equipped with quality camping gear, outdoor activities, and mini-bus shuttles, making them easy to run and rich in impact.
For tighter budgets, we can tailor a Getaway to suit your needs.
We’ll manage all logistics through a private event page—handling communications, registrations, payments, and medical forms—so you can focus on your people and the ministry opportunity.
