Youthworks is seeking a Maintenance Co-ordinator - Outdoor Specialist to join our team at Shoalhaven. This full time role will be contributing to our guests’ satisfaction and enhance Youthworks’ reputation, whilst undertaking maintenance responsibilities to ensure quality service from start to finish.

About the role
The Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of maintenance of the Shoalhaven property, necessary to support the Youthworks Outdoors team. This role is important in ensuring that the properties are maintained to the highest standards and within budget, and that the Youthworks Outdoors programs are well-equipped with the necessary infrastructure to achieve organisational objectives.
Your responsibilities
Main duties and responsibilities Maintenance Management:
o Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of the Shoalhaven & Kangaroo Valley properties ensuring they meet operational and regulatory standards.
o Coordinate all maintenance contractors ensuring the scope of works is completed within listed requirements and budget.
o Make recommendations to the Centre Manager regarding changes to scheduled maintenance.
o Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and legislation.
Staff Management:
o Oversee maintenance staff at the Shoalhaven property.
o Assign tasks to the maintenance staff according to individual skill sets and the priority of tasks.
o Assist the Centre Manager in the recruitment of maintenance staff.
o Train, mentor, and performance manage maintenance staff as required.
Financial Management:
o Adhere to expenditure limits as approved by the Centre Manager.
o Ensure any invoices are authorized & entered into YW systems before the invoice due date.
o Ensure that all pay information is completed & submitted fortnightly.
Health and Safety Compliance:
o Ensure that all operations comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Continuous Improvement:
o Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
o Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to ensure that your part of Youthworks remains focused on Christian Ministry, competitive and innovative.

What we would really like you to have
Personal Christian faith
Experience working in landscaping, gardening, greenkeeping or bush care.
WorkSafe NSW Licenses
Qualifications related to horticulture or green keeping
Proven knowledge of Industry and Safety Standards
First aid qualifications
Additional information
Current drivers license and own transport is essential as there is no public transport anywhere near Shoalhaven Conference Centres.
