Junior Salesforce Administrator (Full time)

The Finance Team ensures Youthworks is well run: that it operates within budget; plans effectively; stewards its resources; manages its employees well; has appropriate information systems; acts in compliance with appropriate policies and legislation; acts in alignment with its strategy; and identifies and manages risks. The division also undertakes special projects: assisting the CEO to formulate and execute a strategy; identifying areas for organisational and cultural improvement; executing key strategic projects relating to existing divisions; and exploring new opportunities that align with Youthworks’ strategy.

About the role

The Junior Salesforce Administrator will support the management of Salesforce. Responsibilities include user assistance, system configuration, data management, reporting, and training. Working within a small Salesforce team, the Junior Administrator will gain hands-on experience across a wide range of projects and tasks, providing a strong foundation to rapidly develop their administrative skills and expertise

Your responsibilities

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Provide first-line support to internal Salesforce users, resolving or escalating issues as required.

·       Manage user setup, profiles, roles, and permission sets.

·       Assist with data imports, exports, deduplication, and data cleansing.

·       Maintain and configure custom fields, objects, page layouts, and record types.

·       Support automation processes (flows, workflow rules, process builder).

·       Develop and maintain standard and custom reports and dashboards.

·       Assist with sandbox management, testing, and deployments under guidance.

·       Prepare training materials and run user training sessions alongside the Platform Head.

·       Support change management by documenting enhancements and communicating updates.

·       Contribute to small projects and system improvements under the Platform Head’s direction.

·   Undertake other duties related to the role as directed by the CRM Platform Head

You will need to demonstrate

Essential

  • ·     1–2 years of Salesforce administration or CRM support experience.

    ·       Familiarity with user management, reports and dashboards, and data operations.

    ·       Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration (objects, fields, layouts, validation rules).

    ·       Understanding of Salesforce automation tools (flows, workflows, process builder).

    ·       Basic knowledge of data loader and import/export tools.

    ·       Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

    ·       Good communication skills, able to support and train end users.

    ·       Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn in a small-team environment

    ·       An ability to work to set deadlines

    ·       Flexible, collaborative, proactive and innovative

    ·       Excellent personal presentation

    ·       Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to be flexible to reflect changes in priority 

    ·       Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications

    ·       A systematic and focused approach to tasks with a strong attention to detail

    ·       An ability to work with a wide range of employees to achieve effective outcomes

    ·       A strong work ethos

    ·       Verified and Cleared NSW Working With Children Check number for paid employment

    ·       Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201) or working towards certification.

    ·       Experience with Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) (highly advantageous but not essential).

    ·       Prior experience in the non-profit sector.

    ·       Strong Excel/spreadsheet skills.

    ·       Familiarity with integrations or APIs (advantage but not required).
