Youthworks is seeking a Donor Relations Administrator to join our Donor & Community Relations team. The Donor & Community Relations team works to support Youthworks’ vision and mission through engaging more people into prayerful and financial partnership with Youthworks. We seek to build relationships with new and existing supporters that enable them to fulfil their personal goals to help young people know and follow Jesus for life. Through their financial support, donors enable Youthworks to partner with local churches and equip them to effectively disciple the children, youth and families of the Diocese.
About the role
The Donor Relations Administrator offers an exceptional standard of service to our supporters whilst providing efficient and effective financial administration of the fundraising program. They also ensure a high level of database management, analysis, and reporting as required.
Your responsibilities
Oversee the processing of all donations by mail, phone and direct deposit, and the corresponding paperwork (receipts, letters, banking, reports) and ensure cash and cheques are banked in a timely manner.
Ensure that requests for information and calls from supporters/public are answered professionally and efficiently.
Manage the processing and administration of monthly regular gift donations and follow up any outstanding donations by mail and phone.
Liaise with other DCR team members to ensure appropriate donor care and accurate and timely processing of major gift donations and foundation grants.
Ensure accurate data entry, receipt processing and mailing for all fundraising activities.
Provide accurate data selection for fundraising appeal mailings and process.
Effectively use Marketo to build lists and format emails for digital campaigns.
Ensure effective campaign setup in the CRM to enable accurate tracking, reporting, and analysis of appeals, events, dashboards and supporter engagement.
Manage new prospect and new donor communication pathways.
You will need to demonstrate
Relevant qualification and/or work experience
Strong customer service focus with demonstrable experience in a previous role
Flexible, collaborative, proactive and innovative
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and to be flexible to reflect changes in priority
Intermediate skills in using MS Office (Excel and Word) to format data and reports and prepare documents for use in donor communications
Willingness to learn new systems and adapt processes as needed
Personal Christian faith and willingness to work within an Anglican organisation
Commitment to work with Youthworks mission
Verified and Cleared NSW Working With Children Check number for paid employment
What we would really like you to have
· Church-based safe ministry / safe church training
· Experience working with CRM and email marketing platforms, especially Salesforce and Marketo
· Experience working in a not-for-profit organisation
