About SRE Conference

The SRE Conference is an annual training event open to all SRE Primary and High School SRE teachers and helpers. Teachers will be encouraged and equipped for the task of ministering to children, families and the school community through authentic and effective word ministry. Join with other SRE teachers as we hear from the bible, pray and sing together, and develop skills that will launch us into a new year of SRE teaching. Whether you’re new to SRE teaching, or have been teaching for many years, SRE Conference is a great way to start the year.

When you register online, please make sure you proceed through the checkout until you reach the screen that provides you with a receipt number. You should then also receive a confirmation email and transaction receipt to the email address you used to register with. If this doesn't happen then your registration won't have been received.
For all registrations, 7 days before each event we will send out a final information email to everyone registered if you don't receive this then please contact us to ensure you are registered.

Can I change my elective choice on the day?

No, Unfortunately, due to limited space and logistics, you’ll need to go to the elective you selected when you registered. You will be informed where to go for the elective that you selected on the day.

Why is there only one Sydney conference location?

There are two main reasons why we are only holding one Sydney Conference.

1. Increased Capacity.

As the number of SRE Teachers and Helpers who attend the Sydney SRE Conferences have increased, we have outgrown the capacity of the venues that we have been using over the past 5 years.

2. Joining Primary and High School together.

In previous years the SRE Conference has been specifically targeted at Primary SRE Teachers. Since 2018 we are delighted to have High School SRE Teachers to join us. We are looking forward to bringing all our SRE teachers and helpers together in one place. Having the SRE Conference at the King's School will allow us to continue to grow this conference.
