You’re putting training into action

Youthworks College has looked very different this year, but the investment of generous friends like you has been so well-timed. You’ve helped enable regular study to move online, so these keen students can progress their training in youth and children’s ministry.

Jaryd Hoffman is a first-year student and Children’s Minister at St Jude’s, Bowral. In helping his church to invest in young people, Jaryd has also learnt valuable lessons about ministry to young people alongside families. He says:

“I called up one Mum who told me she didn’t really know what to do for her kids because she was a new Christian. But she had been talking to her son about God and he wanted to become a Christian too. They prayed together and I was so excited to hear that and to be able to encourage them both!”
