Workplace Giving

Workplace giving is a simple yet powerful way you can donate to Youthworks, direct from your pre-tax salary. It does not affect the way gross income, super payments or fringe benefits are worked out.  In many cases, employers will match their employees’ donations to double the impact of your collective support.

These regular donations are vital to fund our ministries which help young people discover the truth of God’s Word and grow in their relationship with Christ.

By donating through workplace (payroll) giving, you will make a difference to the cause you care about, while enjoying the benefits of seeing your money go even further.

Benefits of workplace giving for employees:

  • You receive an immediate tax benefit. There is no need to collect receipts or wait until the end of the year to claim tax back.

  • 100% of your donation is sent directly to Youthworks.

  • It’s all organised by your payroll so there’s no upkeep or administration on your part.

  • Your donation is given pre-tax, so it will actually cost you less than the amount we receive from your payroll office.

How do I start?

  1. Ask your Workplace Giving Coordinator or Payroll Office if your organisation has a Workplace Giving program. If yes, nominate Youthworks as your charity of choice and select your donation amount.

  2. If Youthworks is not already a nominated charity for Workplace Check, have your payroll office fill out the Workplace Giving Employer Nomination Form and return it to Youthworks. We will then forward our EFT details to your payroll contact person.
