10 things we love about Ruth
Dr Ruth Lukabyo was invited to join the Youthworks College faculty as a Lecturer in 2006. She teaches Church History, Sexuality and Identity and Evangelism. She is also Youthworks College Director of Research, and editor of Australian Evangelical Perspectives on Youth Ministry.
Ruth is celebrating 20 years on staff at Youthworks College, so we asked her colleagues and students to share with us their highlights of her faithful service.

Being a ministry worker brings with it joys and challenges, and everything in between. It is a profound privilege to journey alongside people through the varying seasons of life.
Self-care isn’t selfish—it’s stewardship, and a necessity for sustainable, healthy and resilient ministry. Making space for rest, spiritual renewal, and personal boundaries allows ministry workers to continue serving with joy, resilience, and integrity.
