Financial Assistance
Fee Help. Fee-help is available to all Australian residents. It allows students to defer the ACT tuition component (of up to $5,520*) of Year 13 fees. You will repay this interest free loan later on when your income reaches a certain threshold.
Fiji Fundraising. All students are trained and equipped for fundraising to recoup some (or all) of the costs for the mission trip. Many past students have raised all of the cost of their trip - some much more. You may be surprised!
Local Support. Whilst your ministry placement is very much "work experience" and not a paid role, many churches and schools are very willing and able to assist students by making a contributing to help with fees.
All that said, our desire is for Year 13 to be accessible to every eligible applicant. Please do not (repeat DO NOT) let finances prevent you from applying to Year 13. If finances are a major concern, please indicate this on your application. We would love to help in any way we can.
Some worked examples...
Option 1: Fee help (Australian Citizens); 100% Fiji fundraising
Fees (after Fee-help) = $5,450*
Fundraising for Fiji Mission Trip = $2,260
Balance = $3,190

Note: Fiji fundraising varies and depends on the student. In the past, the amounts raised have ranged from $500 to over $3000! Many students raise all of the cost of the trip; some more, some less.
