VenturEd
At Youthworks Outdoors we believe that not all lessons are learnt in the classroom. In fact many students thrive educationally in an experiential setting. Youthworks Outdoors has been running camps for young people for more than half a century. Each year we work with teachers to bring around 20,000 school students on a journey of learning and discovery!
Youthworks Outdoors provides much more that fun activities. We see camp as an opportunity to use the outdoors as a platform for experiential learning. Additionally, some educational objectives are best delivered through a journey rather than at a single location.
Our VenturEd programs are designed to push the boundaries beyond site based programs. These programs will take the students out of their normal environments and transfer lessons from the theoretical to the practical.
