TWIST (The Word in Song Together) Emerge is the brand-new music conference with the same hands-on, practical, intimate vibe of the raved-about TWIST Away...but for teenagers! If you are in years 7 to 12 then you are invited to join us for this not-to-be-missed inaugural music camp to learn, develop, grow and get excited about the gifts God has given us in music and to learn the importance of using them for God's glory! You will feast on passionate, faithful and relevant teaching from the Bible, plus benefit from practical music workshops and fellowship with like-minded Christian musicians for a week!
Director
Our director is the multi-talented Lara Goudie. Lara is classically trained in voice and piano and has been song-leading at small churches and large conferences for a decade. She has served in music at various Katoomba Christian Conventions such as KYC, KEC, KYCK, WKC and Engage as well as other conferences around Australia. In 2008 she led 10,000 people in worship of God in song at Mark Driscoll’s 'Burn Your Plastic Jesus' at the Sydney Entertainment Centre. She trains song-leaders around Australia and is also a singing teacher. She has completed a Diploma of Theology at Sydney Missionary & Bible College and in 2008 released her debut solo album ‘Out of the Depths’ with 12 of her original songs.
Speaker
Andy Judd has no time for boring music, especially in church. He is currently studying to be a pastor at Moore College, and is a student minister at St Barnabas’ Anglican Church Broadway. In his spare time he writes and plays in the worship band Garage Hymnal. He is fond of small puppies, large noises, and strong coffee.
