HSC Study Conferences Info

Why come on a Youthworks HSC Study Conference?

Our HSC Study Conferences are the ideal opportunity for you to get ready for your exams, the rest of your life and the time of your life. The week long program has been designed by experienced tutors who understand what you as a year 12 student need to make the most of your week away. Experienced tutors will be available to consult on core HSC subjects and where possible, tutors will also be available to provide assistance in a variety of other subjects. In addition to the 30 hours of supervised independent study, we will provide all meals, accommodation and of course; time to relax and recharge for your next session. Each conference is hosted at one of Youthworks exceptional centres, the ultimate destination to escape distraction and focus on learning. We also include a session each day to discuss the Christian faith and how that is relevant in our lives.

No study experience compares to this...so get ready for the time of your life!

Who are the leaders?

Each Youthworks HSC Study Conference is run by a director & Christian leadership team that includes teachers, university students and full-time workers. Directors generally hold a range of graduate and postgraduate qualifications. The conferences are a co-operative effort across the wider Christian community and involve leaders from many different churches and denominations from across NSW. All leaders are required to complete a number of child protection checks and attend training sessions and team meetings before attending camp.

What should I expect on a HSC Study Conference?

• 30 hours of supervised study over the week
• No fridges, TVs or unsupervised internet to distract you
• Create a useful study routine
• Gain motivation from other students
• Guilt-free breaks and in-built entertainment
• Exceptional conference facilities
• Delicious food
• Great people to meet
• Interactive Bible talks and discussions each day

What if I can’t afford the full cost of a HSC Study Conference?

We don't want anyone to miss out on the opportunity of attending a Youthworks HSC Study Conference. While the conferences are certainly invaluable, they do cost a lot to run. Youthworks HSC Study Conferences have a financial assistance program available to students who cannot afford to pay the full cost of camp. Students are asked to contribute whatever they can to the price of the conference and then the balance is paid from the financial assistance fund which comes from donations from others who also understand how valuable Youthworks HSC Study Conferences are.

If you require help in paying for the cost of a conference you can download a Financial Assistance Form here  or by contacting the Youthworks HSC Study Conferences Coordinator. You will be contacted to discuss your assistance after you have returned the completed form by email to hscstudyconferences@youthworks.net, by fax to (02) 9524 3810 or by post to:
