Spring Asian Australian HSC Study Conference
Location: Chaldercot Outdoors & Conference Centre
Date: Saturday 22nd September - Thursday 27th September 2012

Youthworks HSC Study Conferences - experience and be ready.
There is no experience quite like the Youthworks HSC Study Conference. Prepare to learn, live and laugh on one of our unique camps specifically designed for year 12 students seeking to develop and utilise their full study potential. In addition to the 30 hours of supervised independent study, we will provide all meals, accommodation and of course; time to relax and recharge for your next session. Each conference is hosted at one of Youthworks exceptional centres, the ultimate destination to escape distraction and focus on learning. We also include a session each day to discuss the Christian faith and how that is relevant in our lives.
The Asian Study Camp team primarily includes Asian university students who were very proficient in the HSC and many who continue to tutor year 12 students for an income whilst studying at uni, yet come on this camp to help as volunteers for the week. Like many Asian students, most would have achieved 90+ ATAR, with a few achieving 99+ or 100 (under UAI). They are most experienced in the common Asian subjects, like Maths, Sciences, Commerce etc and English.
Tutor Note:
Our conferences at Port Hacking in the Spring run concurrently and next door to each other. This way we are able make efficient use of our tutors and share them where needed.

Andrew was one of those high school students who just didn't know what he wanted to do and so studied a range of subjects in order to keep his options open. He graduated from Commerce/Science majoring in Actuarial Studies and Physics from UNSW (1 of only 2 students crazy enough to do so!) and is now working as a Marketing Analyst for global bank HSBC. Andrew looks Chinese, but in fact grew up in Australia. From a Christian family, Andrew began to understand God's salvation through Jesus, particularly through the ministry of CBS (Campus Bible Study) during university. He is now doing a Cert IV in Christian Ministry and his interests are in understanding the God in the Bible and seeing people understand him. Andrew will be wonderfully married to Rebecca later in 2012.
